What can you expect in terms of Covid health & safety measures on retreat?
Covid Safety Protocols
Before the retreat commences, we will provide detailed information about the Covid safety protocols in place at each of our locations and what will be expected of our guests. As a minimum, our team will test before coming on a retreat using the Rapid Flow Antigen test and we request our guests to do the same.
Health Declaration Form
3 days prior to a retreat you will be asked to complete a Health Declaration Form certifying that you do not have any symptoms of Covid-19 and have not been in contact with anyone you know is infected. We cannot permit a person who has recently tested positive for Covid-19 or been experiencing Covid-like symptoms on the retreat. We advise all guests to take a rapid Covid-19 Antigen test at this stage.
Testing before travel
Depending on your retreat location and your vaccination status, you may be asked to take a PCR or Antigen test and provide proof of a negative test result before your departure and/or on arrival to the retreat location and back to your home country. It is your responsibility to check the latest regulations from your home country and we will provide updated information on the entry requirements for your retreat location.
AT THE HOTEL
Excellent hygiene standards
Each of our retreat locations has a protocol in place that covers their cleaning, completely disinfection of your room prior to your check in, hygiene and disinfection processes, daily room cleaning or on request, hotel staff will wear masks and maintain social distancing, allocated and safe distance between sun loungers on the beach and by the pool, staff training, the use of PPE and local testing procedures.
Dining area
Separate dinning area for our private yoga group, safe distancing between tables in the restaurant, a mix of a-la-carte table service and waiter service and all meals outdoor seating option available.
Outdoor yoga classes
Where-ever possible yoga classes will take place outside on the terrace. If this is not possible due to any weather changes or unforeseen circumstances, our yoga rooms will be set up observing the 1.5-metre rule between mats. We may need to split classes if we can’t fit all the mats in the room and we will let you know about this in advance.
Yoga classes are usually a small private group/bubble- number of people participate in the retreat will be limited to maintain covid safety standard. Our yoga teacher will refrain from any hands- on adjustments unless participant specifically request it.
Expert local information
We have a great relationship with our local hosts, who are closely monitoring the situation in their countries and providing up to date information to ensure we are safe and well looked after throughout our stay.
Excursions and outdoor activities
We always offer a range of outdoor activities like excursions to the beach, lakes, water activity sports and offering you plenty of time out in the wilderness. Our local suppliers and those providing transfers also have Covid-19 safety protocols in place.
Face coverings
For the safety of your fellow guests and our team, you will be asked to wear a face covering when inside any building or when physical distancing is not possible. You will not need to wear a face covering in yoga classes or while dining.
To summaries we will have to respect the government covid 19 guideline of the destination country which may include for us to wear mask in the shops, restaurant, and public space. May require you to provide your vaccine passport/QR code. We will provide you will all the additional information and measure required closer to your travel date.
