DEE(FOUNDER)

Cordelia aka Dee is a motivational teacher that strives to bring out the very best in every student.

She first fell in love with yoga as a teenager, yoga is a lifestyle for Dee. She's passionate about sharing her knowledge and giving a deeper understanding of the ancient Indian teachings, enabling students to use them in a modern world. 

Dee has also completed a 50hr Rocket yoga TTC this year to add to her Ashtangha/Vinyasa 200hr, Prãnãyãma 50hr and Yoga philosophy 50hr. She is constantly learning and growing in her own practice which is evident in her teaching and outlook.

ANITA

Anita teaches yoga and meditation classes around Folkestone, Kent area, ranging from beginner and gentle to more dynamic classes that use movement and breathe to help find students to focus and find stillness. 

She is also heavily involved with the running of the Yoga retreats, workshops and operations of Yoga with BusymumSOS along with Dee. 

Anita completed her Yoga Teacher Training at the same school as Dee 

200hr Ashtanga and Vinyasa in Sampoorna Yoga School, Goa.

DENYCE

Denyce’s class offers you the opportunity to tame tension through movement. You will be guided through a series of postures and sequences which will help you gain a greater sense of postural awareness and space within your body. You will learn tools required to help you move with a sense of ease and efficiency both on and off the mat. ‘My love of yoga comes from a background in dance, so I pay particular attention to alignment and technique. Yoga is an inclusive practice which offers everybody an invitation towards optimal health. ‘

CHLOE

Chloe first began yoga as a young mum many years ago and her initial interest was for the physical benefits, but she quickly became hooked on the way yoga made me feel on the inside instead of how she looked on the outside. By changing her lifestyle to incorporate daily yoga, meditation, healthy eating and wellness she's able to be a better parent; more present, conscious and joyful in all areas of her life. Chloe completed my Yoga TT in 2020, Training with Akhanda Yoga in the uk and Rishikesh, India.

SOPHIE

Sophie is a level 3 Yoga and Pilates Instructor who loves to help people to connect with and understand their body, mind and soul on every level possible.

Sophie is an extremely intuitive healer, she holds beautiful sound medicine journeys where people are able to feel held and release deep routed trauma.

Sophie has also recently complete a level 2 breath work course .

KRAZY-K

Karen has spent the last 20 years as a children's entertainers.

During the pandemic she qualified as a children's yoga teacher and taught mental health awareness in schools. 

Karen combines her sense of fun and creative energy to inspire kids in a a playful way to explore yoga, mindfulness and kindness through music, games, storytelling, breathing techniques and movement. 

Childhood is the perfect time to teach kids to form healthy habits giving them a foundation to build their own yoga practice which is priceless through life.

TINK

Tinkerbell our Teen Instructor, Is the daughter of Dee the founder, she works very closely with her mum shadowing  and learning whilst continuing to deepen her own yoga practice along the way.

Tink is also a qualified gymnastics instructor so has a lot of experience teaching children to explore their bodies in a safe but confident way.

Tink assists on all of the teen classes and retreats and is the lead teen instructor on our online platform.

Tinkerbell is hoping to travel to India in 2023 and complete her 200hr TTC. This is just the beginning!

FRAN 

Francesca remembers trying her first yoga class in her late teens and it didn’t resonate with her. It felt too spiritual, too fluffy and not something she needed in her life.

 

A few years later during a stressful period at work, plus an ongoing back issue; she gave it another shot and has never looked back.

 

During lockdown, yoga became a solace for Fran. It was a place she could go to where nothing else mattered, where nothing else needed to make sense and where nothing else was on her mind. Some days were to challenge the physical body, some days were to challenge the mind.

 

Fran completed her vinyasa/ashtanga yoga teacher training at SPACE yoga studio in Brighton in 2021 - a lockdown project with a studio she loves and trusts to support her through the journey.

 

Fran now teaches a number of her own classes and has recently moved to Shoreham, where she has plans to expand even further.

 

Fran's classes are dynamic and will challenge both the physical body and the mind. Incorporating pranayama and meditation, Fran believes in the eight limbed approach to yoga. Yoga is not just to be practiced on your mat, but within each and every moment of your life. Classes will often have a theme to tie everything together and allow you to get lost in the practice.

CLARE

Clare completed he 200 hours Baptiste inspired vinyasa teacher training in 2015 whilst living in Singapore. She found a passion for yoga 10 years ago after having her second child. She loves to help people feel better about themselves through yoga. She is constantly learning about herself, and teaches from a space of true experience and authenticity.

Clare is an outstanding teacher her students are a true testament to that!

DARREN

Darren is our strength and resistance trainer. We are so fortunate to have Darren on the team he has a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Darren holds weekly sessions for us at Tula from his fully equipped garden weights gym in Orpington. Darren has transformed so many of our regular members practice through helping them incorporate strength and stability aiding them massively in their yoga practice and in their everyday lives.

Daren also practices yoga to a very high level!

SHI

Shi is a qualified yoga teacher based in South London. After almost ten years of dedicated practice, she became qualified in April 2022 and has been offering classes in-person and online since. With a background in dance and a love for Ashtanga, her Vinyasa flows are fun, expressive and dynamic. Shi comments “you don’t have to be flexible or look a certain way to start yoga, the only thing you need is to have a body! Yoga is for everyone and has countless benefits. The biggest lesson I have learnt since practicing is how to exhale and truly decompress.”
